Matija Đulvat

My playing career started in 1993 in Croatian 1st division. My team won the Croatian championship in 1998. After winning that trophy, I moved to Italy, to Serie B team Arzignano Grifo. Grifo won Serie B that year and we were promoted to Italian A2 league. It took us 3 years to win A2 and earn a spot in Serie A, and only two seasons to win the Scudetto (2004) under coach Lucio Solazzi.

I completed a coaching course in Vicenza (Italy) under the guidance of Roberto Menichelli (current manager of Italy) and obtained a permit of futsal coach.

In Croatia, I played one season in Split under coach Tiago Polido (Marca, Arzignano, Asti) and then I started to work as a player-manager with Uspinjača until Mićo Martić joined club in 2010.

I moved to Alumnus in season 2012/2013 and in my second season with Alumus I won my second Croatian championship.

I went on to play for the national team and won the 2010 Mediterranean Cup in Libya in and fourth place at the 2012 European Championships in Croatia before retiring.

In 2008 I took over a student team of Zagreb with whom I won two Croatian championships, and became a European champion in 2010. After that I was offered a job at VERN private college and managed to win the 2015 European University Championship with them.

I am now the president of Futsal Dinamo.
